Can someone please provide advice on ‘Injector, cylinder 6, activation‘

Hi,

I have a BMW 730LD and it has on two occasions over the last few months went into limp mode with rough idle, stating drivetrain issue.
If I then turn it off, wait for a bit and back on.. and it’s back to normal.

I had it read and it said the following:

“injector, cylinder 6, activation, on minus, high-resistance short circuit to positive side”

Should I get the injector replaced? or is it something else? any information or advice is much appreciated.

Check your fuses and also check the current and voltage supply to the affected injector. Compare the value with other injectors.
