changed eccentric sensor, re learned the valvetronic motor by steps, it still wont crank

i changed the eccentric shaft sensor, then followed steps to let valvetronic relearn its position but it still will not crank, at first it cranked but it was surging up and down so bad i cut it off, but now it wont start please advise

Vehicle: 2006 bmw 325i 3.0 sedan automatic
