P0131 SUBARU - heater doesn't work

heater doesn\'t work, radio light doesn\'t come on, heater fan doesn\'t seem to work. heater lights come on, but are distorted and temperature is set and stuck at 88 degrees.

Hi there,

First, the code is for the O2 sensor and has nothing to do with the heater control issue. The heater control issue is usually a problem with the face itself. This is the first year they used a computer controlled face to control the heater and the radio. This should be removed and tested. To test you need the special tool at the dealer. At the time this came out the only testing was the testing face plate from the dealer.
