Hi there

The output speed sensor is mounted to the transmission and when it fails the computer cannot see the speed of the transmission, this will usually not only result in the code, but also normally a bad shift pattern as well. Most of the time the sensor is the cause of the problem, however internal transmission problems can also set off this code.
