I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata and the check engine light came on while driving. There was a slight stall when this happened but the vehicle still drives okay. I took it to Auto Zone for a reading and got the following codes:

P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P1372 Segment Time Acquisition Incorrect
P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
P0300 Multiple Misfire Detected

I did some light research into the P1372 error code and it seems that the crankshaft position sensor may be the problem...The only trouble is I have replaced that sensor TWICE within the last 3 years. Could be be something more to the problem (i.e. the electronic control module?)? Just looking for suggestions or other possible solutions. Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

The code P1372 is indeed for the crankshaft position sensor. Since you've replaced this and still receive the code, It's likely a wiring problem. Here is some info for you.
