ABS light comes on at speed with error code P1682 begins running badly

Question

Driving at 80 mph on very hot day, abs light came on and airbag readiness light came on. Car started driving erradically loosing speed. Stopped, turned engine on and off, ran properly. Then it did it again. Cycled key again and got home.
Code reader pulled P1682
