2004 Kia Amanti code P0431, location and upstream or downstream?

There are way too many discrepancies on the internet to decipher whether this O2 sensor is upstream or downstream, and which side of the vehicle it is on! Please someone tell me the CORRECT answer!!

Hi there

First, this code is for the catalytic converter and not the O2 sensor. If it's a problem with the O2 sensor, it's the down stream O2 sensor after the converter. Driver side of the car.
