Changed plugs. Have read gm sent out bulletin that cause was gap for plugs and boots for them. I changed plugs but still have major misfiring on cylinder 1. That ignition coil is very expensive (I'm unemployed at moment ) so would it be wise to change those boots? How?

The ignition coils are probably the most common problem, after the spark plugs, but you could try replacing the boots first.

You have to remove all the coils to replace the boots.
