P0204 MAZDA -

Question

Is this something that will happen if the car has not been driven for a while? Is this something the needs immediate attention? I just bought this car from a dealer and I don\'t want to get screwed. I had a mechanic check the code for me and I just want to know what I am up against.

HI there

This code means the fuel injector circuit is open for the number 4 injector. This would only be caused by the car not being driven if a rodent got into the engine wiring harness and chewed it up. Otherwise the most common issue is the fuel injector itself.
