i went to get my car smogged and the service engine soon light came on in the middle of the smog check could this code be do to the breathalizer i have installed in my car???

U1000 is a bad ground problem, you can clean the factory grounds with sand paper and tighen them back up. and you can add a grounding kit to help the factory grounds

As far as the breathalizer goes maybe depends how it was installed
