P0300 is a random misfire, where it is more than 1 cylinder that is not contributing , So as a 3.8 engine you have 6 cylinder and at least there is 2 cylinder that are not contributing, . What you are experiencing is exactly what a random misfire will do. This can be ignition wire to sparkplug related , to fuel pressure being to low in volume, to a mechanical condition.
