would the battery being disconnected for a long time cause this

My 2002 Altma has been parked battery disconnected for 2 months would this cause rhe service engine light to come on?

This would not cause the light to come on. The light comes on as a result of an issue with one of the monitored systems of the car. When the car runs the self test if everything isn't working correctly, then the light will appear.
