What possible causes are there for a 2176 code one a 12 Tahoe with a 5.3 motor

Just rebuilt motor a month or two ago and replaced altanator a couple days ago and out of the blue it lost power and popped a 2176 code

This code is for the throttle on the truck, Either an issue with the throttle motor or a problem with the wiring. In most cases though, cleaning the throttle can solve the issue. If there is to much carbon build up on the throttle plate, it may be sticking and causing the problem.
