B1342 does not necessarily means it is the ABS system, This code has a variety definitions. It can represent the instrument cluster as being failed, or the Air bags system with the restraint system, Just gathering the code , you need to know what module set this code, "B" is body control , a factory level scan tool that can read the instrument panel , the restraint system and the ABS system. If you wan to know the location here use this.
