P0457 SUBARU -

Question

Fuel cap is not off, no fuel odor, no hoses to charcoal canister appear to be loose, worn, or missing, but light keeps coming back on after clearing the code. What could be the cause and repair?

HI there,

The most common cause I have found for this is the drain valve under the car bolted tot he canister. Most of the time the wire breaks and the valve is not the problem.
