I have a 99 passat 1.8 turbo with 2 codes, P1338 and P1545???

Question

Won't go above 55 on a level road. Shakes and sputter when accelerating and at a stop. Slowing down seems normal till almost stopped.
Would run fine in early morning, then bad in the afternoon

P1545 Throttle position control malfunction

P1338 Camshaft position sensor circuit Bank 1 open circuit / short to B+

With this code that is set you resole P1338, if the camshaft sensor shorts to power it robs power to the MAP Sensor, without the MAP you will not accelerate and it can set a TPS code, and you not even had a throttle position sensor problem, if anything its only one code that is set its P1338 replace the camshaft sensor .
