2007 Audi A4 Quattro gas gauge started to go up . And "esp" and check engine light came up drove home the scan tool didn't read only said u0100 then no data-bus after 2-3hours car back to normal.. also a weak battery do this?

Yes a low battery condition will and does a lot of problem with the instrument panel. It will also set a low battery charge rate condition.
