P0643 - 2008 Pathfinder does not accelerate

Question

Check Engine Soon Light illuminates, does not accelerate. I have to turn the car off and on to get it to move.

The mechanic has determined code P0643 as the cause for the check engine light.

Anybody know why? Anyone?

This code is for the 5 volt reference signal that is sent by the computer to certain sensors on the system. This code means one of the sensors or the computer isn't getting it's signal. This could be the result of a bad sensor or wiring to the sensor, could also be the circuit inside the computer is causing the problem. This will cause a loss of power because it affects the app sensor
