My truck has the code PO 0191 which means fuel rail pressure sensor. When i push the gas i have no power at all just chuggs and barely drives. When u shut the truck off and turn it back on it will work fine until you try and put the petal to the floor. I realize ur not supposed to do that but when u have no power its my first instinct. Do i replace the fuel filter first? everything else seems soo expensive, but i did notice its not in the reasons why the code can come on. Please help!

Hi there,

Replacing the fuel filter could help if the truck has low fuel pressure. This has to be tested because normally low fuel pressure will be the result of a faulty fuel pump. The pressure sensor itself could also be bad and causing the code and running issues.
