Why does my 97plymouth Voyager stop running with code p 1494 showing by

The Van runs really well and it starts right away unless it shuts itself off and then I have to unhook the negative to the battery and wait for a couple minutes before hooking up again and then it starts right up, but it might shut off again if I don't slow down.

The P01494 is not causing the stalling issue. This is an issue with the leak detection pump.
