if my engine have the code p0171 how long can I drive it ?

I have the code p0171 I was wondering if I can ignore it for a while and drive it ?  And how much cost to repair

Lean fuel trim, this is the condition  of what the engine is going through, The whole purpose of the CK ENG LT is to protect the catalytic convertor and the catalytic convertor is to protect the environment. The second purpose of the CK ENG LT is to conserve fuel.  Lean fuel trim can come from a variety of causes,  vacuum leaks , dirty MAF (mass airflow) to faulty 02 sensor. how long you can drive it , you can drive a whole month but as long as the CK ENG LT is on , you can expect to pay more for fuel and surpass the cause to fix the problem
