P0010 TOYOTA -

I have a 2007 Yaris and I am getting a loud noise comming from the motor sounds like a powerstearing unit when it needs fluid. That is not the issue. I also get a code of P0010 and P0010 pd.

This code indicates a problem with the variable timing cam actuator. You need to check the engine oil. If it is lowm the actuator won't work properly. If the oil level ius good, then there is likely an issue with the timing chain, or timing chain tensioner.
