2007 Mercedes Sprinter (311) 2.1L Diesel fault code P1955

Question

Does anyone know for sure what this code means? i used 2 different scan tools and they both come up with no description. I've searched the internet but get differing opinions. The van seems to run fine the check engine light is on and after I start the engine and then goes away but comes back?
Any help would be much appreciated

P1955 deals with the glow plug module, buy a dozen and keep some as spare and make it a hobby of replacing the glow plug module.
