I replaced the Bank 1 Sensor 1 on my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder, and they cleared the code. Within a day the error was back, so I exchanged it for another sensor in hopes that the new sensor was bad. Within a week the code was back again. It has erratically came back on and off again several times within the last couple of months. I don't seem to be having any performance issues either. I wonder if there is something wrong with my on-board computer, or if there is something else wrong further up the line that is causing this part to throw up errors. The auto-shop guys don't seem to know, and my local Nissan shop wasn't any better. The light went off on my way to the shop, and they charged me an arm and a leg just to say I need to replace the sensor again. I told them that I just replaced it twice, and there is something else wrong.  But without it throwing up a code, they seem to be clueless.
