06 Nissan Frontier LE 4.0L Can a loose / defective gas cap cause a P0345 Service Engine Light.

Question

Vehicle has 154000 miles on it. Runs good and averages 21 Hwy MPG. I don't know if plugs were ever changed.

This will not cause this code. The code is for the bank 2 cam position sensor. Most cases the sensor itself is the issue. It is also possible there is a wiring issue to the sensor, but most of the time it's the sensor itself.
