2000 toyota tundra 4.7L P0441 (EVAP faulty purge).

Question

Check engine light came on-code was P0441 (EVAP faulty purge). Truck seems to still be running fine. I did change out plugs an one coil last week due to misfire but do not think that has anything to do with this issue. Any suggetions? Start w/new fuel cap?

This code will not affect engine performance. The purge valve works when the pressure sensor tells it there is enough pressure in the evap system. I would recheck all your vacuum lines that you may have removed you replaced the plugs. If you missed one, it might not be pulling the fuel vapors from the charcoal canister.

A fuel cap will no resolve this issue.
