I live in CA. Took my car in for a smog check, and did not pass. I got an \\"obd fault codes PO135 02 sensor heater fault bank 1\\". I was told to take the car in to have the code checked out and fix the problem. My check engine light is on also. Can anyone tell me what this code means, and what I have to do to fix it, and how much it will cost?

Thanks,

Vehicle: 1998 Honda Accord, 4 cylinder

This code means the heater in the front O2 sensor has failed. The O2 sensor is the most common issue and it is located in the exhaust manifold before the converter. Typical cost for this repair will be $200 to $250.
