Getting both codes together so sort of ruling out a sensor initially as they would both have to be faulty.
Cleared them and they return in about 4-5 miles of normal driving but take longer if I keep the revs under about 2000.

Checked oil level which is OK and it also looks clean.
Oil pressure gauge is on order to check that. Probably will try to check the valve timing solenoids this weekend.

Meanwhile has anyone else had this problem and solved it ?

Kevin, i have exactly the same car with exactly the same problem, but showing only P000A code.
Keeping it under 2000rpm etc, loosing power.

Do you know what the solution was??

Would greatly appreciate your help
