Went from code p0138 to code p0037 after replacing downstream sensor.

Question

Why would I go from high voltage to low voltage after replacing 02 sensor, bank 1 sensor 2, and how do I fix it? Any help would be great!

This code is for the heater circuit in the bank 1 sensor 2. This could mean you have a faulty O2 sensor, or the wiring harness from the sensor is shorted out. it's quite possible the sensor is defective.
