Question

Check engine light came on O/D light flashes constantly,Code from home was PO743 took to dealer there code was PO735. Had soleniods replaced then got a call stating O/D band was loose boyfriend asked for it to be adjusted if possible. Do I need to replace the transmission if so, how long will a rebuilt one last? Should I consider getting rid of my truck, before it totally gives out? I\'m the second owner, first was a family member that took great care of the truck as I have. I\'m just affraid of being taken advantage of and am not sure whether its worth putting alot of money into as its about to hit a 100,000 miles Thanks for any help

Hi there

This code is a faulty torque converter clutch solenoid. If this solenoid was replaced and you still have the issue then it's possible you will need a new torque converter.
