Recently I ran out of fuel, refueled, had a p0191 code but truck won't start now?

Question

Can't hear fuel pump turn on when I turn the key.  Checked all fuses are good but don't know how to check relays. Thinking it might be frp sensor but hoping it's not a  dead fuel pump. Don't want to spend a lot of money on a guess.

Hi there,

I would do a fuel pressure test. This is the quickest way to determine if the fuel pump has failed or not. The code could actually be the result of the pump failing. The sensor itself shouldn't prevent the vehicle from starting.
