Did what the video showed, 2 weeks later the p1764 again now what could it be?

New solenoid sensor and switch, new filter and trans fluid. Still got the p1764 code 2 weeks i did the work. Was i suppose to disconnect the battery so the computer learns the new part? Could it be something else?

Whether it is a ECM or TCM what it does is they both look for open circuit short circuit, grounds, . A circuit low occurs when that componenet is less voltage of what the TCM or PCM sees. Regardless the component  should be changed out this ensure that component is not the root cause, When acomponent is left too long that is causing the CK ENG LT to come on it is capable of burning out its driver in the PCM, This is more now a electrical problem as long as the harness to is good, the PCM is suspected
