ABS light and sometimes breake light comes on - code c1226

Yes, everytime I drive my windstar van the ABs light comes on and sometimes the brake light also. I think it is the brake cable is bad because I can wiggle the brake lever and the brake light goes off. But the ABS light stays on after I start driving it. It has been doing this for about 3 months

If the parking brake lamp comes on during the drive the ABS light comes on, which is disabled due to the brake warning lamp. What happens is the parking brake switch short out internally. or just does not get depressed properly,
