I have a 2003 Land Rover Disco and getting a P1000 error code, trying to understand it and remove it.

Hi there

This code basically or in most cases simply means the computer didn't complete all the required OBDII monitor testing. This can also happen with a battery change or if you recently cleared the computer with a scan tool. This is not a bad code and won't have any effect at all on the way the engine is performing.
