codes 1148 0031 what does this mean i have used the catilatic converter cleaner not working

Hi there,

This code P0031 is a code for the heater circuit on bank 1 O2 sensor #1. This is the sensor before the converter in the manifold. The 1148 code means the sensor isn't going into closed loop. Closed loop is what happens to the sensor when the engine is up to temp.

Replace the sensor, it's likely the heater circuit inside the sensor is the problem.
