there is no power going to camshaft sensor is it wiring or something else

no power going to cam shaft sensor does it sound like wiring problem or could something else stop it from getting power to it

What the camshaft sensor does is generate it signal, there is a signal plate and a pick up coil, You can only test the OHM value, at cold you should have 835-1400 ohms  Warm 1060 -1645 ohms.
