Hoow will you know if your tranmission sensor is bad on a 2002 Nissan Altima

Will i was driver i mad a stop on a light when i tried to pull away i hurd a pop and my car will not go forward, i want ot know if its the transmission or the sensor?

There are some test that needs to be done to determine what is the exact cause of the problem. If the engine still running well (no noises or running rough), but the vehicle is not moving, then it's psossible that the problem is the transmission.
