On my 2009 Chevrolet Colorado 2.9L, I've changed the Cam Actuator for the engine code P0017, but the check engine light still comes ON. What do I check next?

This code is with the camshaft actuator solenoid rather than just the camshaft actuator, if you replace the camshaft actuator , replace the camshaft actuator solenoid, if the code returns you valve timing is not set correctly,
