Where else could I look there is no sensor in the location shown on your diagram

When you look at the sensor shown on your diagram it is just a plastic plug with an o-ring no sensor just a plug where else could it be?

Because the transmission is a 4X4 the speed sensor is at the transfer case, For 2wd it is at the transmission tail end.
