It's usually at a stop light that my engine stalls. It otherwise runs well and has full power. No missing or rough running. But when I come to a stop it will idle at about 1000 rpm smoothly but then suddenly give a split second roughness then stall. I can't figure out what it is. The code keeps reading P1300. Any help? By the way - after the engine stalls it wont start right up again until a number of tries.

P1300 Igniter circuit malfunction No. 1

The cause for this is the ECM. If the vehicle runs well and has full power , this is the ECM that causes the problem , In some cases what usually happens when P1300 occurs the vehicle could be at load, then al of a sudden there is no acceleration and can not maintain a idle, until a ignition restart. The fix is to replace the ECM.
