What do you generally have to fix or replace on the transmission when you get the code P0715?

I am getting the code of P0715 and am wondering what I need to replace on my Mitsubishi Galant ES 2002 2.4

P0715 Transmission input / turbine speed sensor

All this depends on the condition of the transmission fluid and what the vehicle is doing, when you set a P0715 on a Mitsubishi the transmission goes into a fail safe either 2nd gear or 3rd gear this is the fail safe. . If the vehicle does not go into a fails safe but the transmission flare you replace the transmission , you are better off replacing the input speed sensor and retest.
