I'm worried the dealership isn't being honest with me. My check engine light came on, checked that the gas cap was on properly, when that didn't help, I took it to the dealership because I have a hybrid. The following diagnostic codes showed up: P0455, P0A37, and P0449. The P0A37 code hit me the hardest because it is the Starter/Generator part of the hybrid system. They want to charge me $1815. Is that normal?? Thanks for the help!

Best answer
P0A37 Starter / generator temperature sensor performance

This is about the price range, compare the price of what is required to be replaced and ask the dealer about removing part that are to be replaced that are Recalled such as the loss of the hybrid function. and if there would be a reimbursement,
