2002 Ford Escort 2.8L with engine code P1460

I noticed the windows of my car were very slightly fogging up. When I got home, and got out of the car, I noticed what appeared to be coolant by the tire - it came from from and middle of the car, and was I think less than a cup. I turned the car on - was not overheating. About 30 min. later went to a mechanic - eyeball look didn't catch anything. Coolant bottle was full. Had engine check and 1460 came up. The engine never overheated.

A couple of months ago I got a new thermostat. Same thing - except no coolant. The shop had to replace the thermostat - faulty. No problems since.

This code is for the wide open throttle air conditioning cutout circuit. This controls the air conditioning compressor when the car is at wide open throttle and indicates there is an issue with the circuit itself.
