P1507 FORD - what does this mean, thank you

this code came up on a code scanner and I am wanting to know what it means, thanks It is for a 2002 eddie bauer edition ford explorer, 4.0

This code is for the IAC(Idle Air Control) This will show up when the idle speed is off. The IAC is suppose to control the idle. If it's not woring properly, then it's not adjusting the idle.

You can also sometimes remove the IAC and clean it up with carb cleaner to resolve issues with it. Because the code is present it is more then likely and electrical issue and will need proper testing.
