I have a 2005 nissan pathfinder.  My check engine light came on, so I hooked up my OBD-II reader and it spit out the P1273 fault code.  From what I can tell, this code only seems to pop up for Altimas and Sentras.  It definitely idles rough and even accelerates in a non-linear fashion.  The forums point to a a/f ratio sensor........for an Altima.  I would guess that it is the same for a Pathfinder, but that's why I am posing the question here.  What gives?

Hi there,

This is the same for any of the nissans. This is a code for the bank 1 O2 sensor. It doesn't have to be an altima to have this code or this issue. Sometimes on the trucks though a plugged up converter will cause this code as well. Most of the time replacing the bank 1 O2 sensor will resolve the problem however.
