P0171 Dodge -

Question

The past few times after filling up my r/t sputters and/or stalls. This weekend after gas, the (ETC) Electronic Throttle Control light came on &  smoke blew out the a/c vent (never happened b4) the idle was choppy & revved from 600-2500 several times b4 stalling. I can start the car but the idle is very rough.
I pulled a code P0171.
3 weeks ago I replaced a cat & we moved the 2nd o2 sensor past the new cat.
The code has several things that could cause it, I just don't know what to start with??

Hi there,

The best place to start with this lean fuel mixture code is to check for intake manifold leaks. Also, check the fuel pressure. Low fuel pressure can cause a lean fuel mixture. Check for exhaust leaks as well. It's possible the converter is leaking and causing the problem. This will cause a lean fuel mixture.
