P0745 -the vehicle is slipping on 3rd gear

The vehicle starts slipping in 3rd gear. P0745 code doesnt want to clear.  Have already replaced the solenoid.
Vehicle: 2002 Mercury Mountaineer 4.0L

P0745 Electronic pressure control solenoid

Test for open  circuit to the EPC, you can test for its voltage from the TCM to solenoid.
