Showing code P1405 on diagnostic reader. Vehicle has excessive grey smoke coming out of exhaust but seems to be running ok. No high temperature or warning lights
Vehicle: 2007, hyundi Santa Fe, 2.2 diesel

HI there

This code means the egr temp is incorrect. This could be a problem with the egr valve not working, a plugged egr tube or a faulty egr temp sensor. Check the EGR valve
