P0204 Chevrolet -port running rich, what does this mean

code p204 comes up. says one of the ports is running rich, what does this mean

P0204 Fuel injector control circuit number 4 cylinder

Running rich mean there is more fuel than air , rich running condition are more a mechanical condition if the fuel injector does not resolve the issue the suspected cylinder would need a leak down or compression test to rule out a mechanical problem
