Unable to achieve or maintain highway speed. No power and will not shift into top gear unless you remove your foot from the gas. Then it shifts into OD, by then you've lost the speed and have to start over. Real poor gas mileage.

Hi there,

The quickest method is to remove the O2 sensor that is ahead of the converter and drive it. If with the sensor out there is more power and the shifting returns to normal you know the converter is plugged and should be replaced.
